I am a mother of a darling little girl, the wife of a handsome and loving husband and a full-time professional working mother at a global consulting firm. My husband and I reside in my hometown and we live less than 2 miles (1.4 miles to be exact) away from the home I grew-up in and the home where my parents still live. I am the oldest of 4 and a very proud and blessed aunt of 10 amazing nieces and nephews. I have a beautiful life filled with tons and tons of love, support, good food, great cocktails and an abundance of laughter from the innocence of children.
For as long as I can remember, I have always desired to do something more. To be an inspiration to others, to provide a sense of comfort to those in need and to be best that I can be! But you see, it’s not always easy to push yourself forward when you have so much more than you ever imagined. But, true happiness, I mean, true happiness and contentment comes from within, comes from our soul being full and bursting with the things that make us feel worthy. So as the days pass and the years fade away I find myself still “wanting” and “hoping” to do something more, so I fill my days with things that temporarily make me feel content, but I tend to push aside the things that really, really make me jump for joy. Don’t get me wrong, I love who I am, I love the life I have, I feel grateful for an amazing career and I feel extremely blessed for the gifts that God has given to me, especially the gift of a being a mother and for my supportive family, but I’m not yet content, I have something more to give and my soul is screaming for me to just be who I desire and believe I can be. So, 2017 is the year that I’ve committed to myself to push forward, to balance my schedule and extend my days so I can do what I desire to do and what I’ve been wanting to do for so many years.
Wow, after writing all of that, I’m realizing that this blog has a REALLY big job to fill, LOL! No, it’s just the beginning of a journey that I’m so ready to start and that I’m so ready to share with the world! So, welcome again and thanks so much for visiting!
